Magical Girl Neil tells the tale of Neil Moynihan, a grumpy young man who discovers on his sixteenth birthday that he is descended from a long line of magical warmaidens, gifted their powers by a benevolent spirit in ancient Japan. These magical abilities pass from generation to generation, usually down the female line, but once every hundred years or so, a male is born who also has the ability to transform.
